Journey of Faith Church looks at seven areas of a person's life before placing them in a volunteer position. We look at a person's spiritual maturity, spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, experiences, and motivation. This is the big seven! We take these areas into consideration as we identify a ministry position for you. Volunteer Coordinators help assist with the placement and direction of volunteers. We want to make sure you have a fulfilling experience. If you're in the right position, it should never be work for you. Volunteer Coordinators make sure you are in the right place and you have a positive experience.

Journey of Faith encourages all volunteers to be in two (2) volunteer positions: Primary Ministry - We encourage volunteers to be in a primary ministry, which is an extension of who they are. This is where they spend the majority of their volunteer time.

Secondary Ministry - We also encourage volunteers to be in a secondary position, which is just a place they are willing to serve.
